Wind and Snow Load Requirements
Use the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Hazard Tool to understand wind and snow load requirements for your area. Remember, these are specifications for your area, so you can always go more than, but never less than, shown.
To use the tool:
- Input installation address, or select it on the map.
- Under “Risk Category” select “I.”
- Under “Load Types” select both “Wind” and “Snow.”
- Press “View Results.”
After following the above steps, your required wind load and ground load snow rating will display. These ratings apply to carports, garages, sheds, and any other steel structure you purchase from us.
